Mary Myatt Workshop 12th June 2018 Stoke on Trent - Free to network members - booking open!

‘High Challenge, Low Threat’ Implications for leadership and learning

We will consider the argument that we are a challenge seeking species; that it is possible to have radical candour as long as we have established the principles of being both robust and kind.

The sessions will focus on

  • ethos, values and leadership
  • challenge in the classroom
  • accountability
  • the headlines from cognitive science

Mary Myatt is an education adviser, writer and speaker. She works in schools talking to pupils, teachers and leaders about learning, leadership and the curriculum. She maintains that there are no quick fixes and that great outcomes for pupils are not achieved through tick boxes. She writes and speaks at conferences about leadership, curriculum and school improvement.
