‘High Challenge, Low Threat’ Implications for leadership and learning
We will consider the argument that we are a challenge seeking species; that it is possible to have radical candour as long as we have established the principles of being both robust and kind.
The sessions will focus on
- ethos, values and leadership
- challenge in the classroom
- accountability
- the headlines from cognitive science
Mary Myatt is an education adviser, writer and speaker. She works in schools talking to pupils, teachers and leaders about learning, leadership and the curriculum. She maintains that there are no quick fixes and that great outcomes for pupils are not achieved through tick boxes. She writes and speaks at conferences about leadership, curriculum and school improvement.

CUREE CPD - Developing Coaching Skills - Free to network members
This CPD, delivered by CUREE, explores key coaching skills, with a particular focus on coaching women in educational leadership.
We are delighted to be able to offer free again this year through the ‘Women Leading in Education’ Network. All sessions will run from 12.30pm – 4pm including a light lunch and refreshments.
